Privacy Policy
What winbid.lol collects, what it doesn't, and who processes payments
The short version
winbid.lol has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no advertising trackers. We only handle the data needed to run a paid leaderboard: what you submit, what the payment provider tells us about a completed order, and anonymous click counts.
What we collect
- Listing submissions. The URL or @handle you enter, the bid amount, and display metadata (name, favicon, public description) derived from the target site. Query strings are stripped before anything is stored.
- Order records. When a payment completes, our payment provider sends us the order status, amount, and the buyer email associated with the payment. We store this to attribute the bid and handle disputes; we never receive or store card numbers.
- Click events. When someone clicks a listing we record an anonymous timestamped event for that listing to power the click counters and the trending list. These events are not tied to a profile of you.
- Basic server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses and request metadata to serve and protect the site.
What we don't do
- No account profiles, passwords, or login data — there are none.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your theme preference is stored locally in your own browser and never sent to us.
- No selling or renting of data to anyone.
Third parties
- Payment provider — processes checkout and card details under its own privacy policy; we receive only order results.
- Cloudflare — hosts the site, database, and logs.
- Google Favicon service — listing icons are loaded from Google's public favicon endpoint; your browser requests them directly.
Retention and your rights
Order records are kept as long as required for accounting and dispute handling. Click events are aggregate statistics. If you want a listing's data corrected or removed, or want to know what we hold that relates to you, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes
