The terms governing bids and listings on the winbid.lol leaderboard
What winbid.lol is
winbid.lol is a public leaderboard. You pay to place a listing — a product website or an X @handle — on the board, and your position is determined solely by the amount you have bid. There are no accounts, no subscriptions, and no advertising contracts. By submitting a bid you agree to these Terms and to the board rules.
Bids and ranking
- A bid is a one-time payment. Once your payment completes, your listing holds the position that its total amount earns at that moment.
- Positions are not permanent. Anyone may outbid you at any time, and your listing will move down accordingly. Paying for a position does not reserve it, guarantee its duration, or entitle you to a refund when you are outbid.
- Raising your own listing charges only the difference between your new total and your current total.
- We make no promises about traffic, clicks, visibility, or any commercial outcome from appearing on the board.
Payments and refunds
- Payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details.
- All completed bids are final and non-refundable, including when your listing is outbid, when you change your mind, or when your listing is removed for violating these Terms or the board rules.
- Where required by law, statutory rights remain unaffected.
Listings and content
- You may only list something you are entitled to promote.
- Listings must comply with the board rules: no chat or invite links, no adult content, no link shorteners, and no affiliate or tracking parameters (query strings are stripped automatically).
- Listing display data (name, favicon, description) is derived from your submission and from the target site's public metadata.
- A listing on the board is paid placement by the bidder. It is not a review, ranking of quality, or endorsement by us.
Moderation and removal
We may remove or edit any listing that we reasonably consider unlawful, deceptive, harmful, or in breach of these Terms or the board rules, and we may refuse future submissions from repeat violators. Removed listings are not refunded.
Liability
The board is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost visibility, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the board, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the affected bid.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date above reflects the latest revision; continued use of the board after a change constitutes acceptance.
